What is a Forex Simulator for MT5?

Forex Simulator is manual backtesting software that replays a chosen historical period right inside MetaTrader 5. The market moves candle by candle, the future is hidden, and you trade exactly as you would on a live account: with your own indicators, templates and risk rules.

See the market the way you trade it

A real trader does not look at a single chart. That is why the simulator runs several timeframes, several instruments and the news flow at the same time — in one historical session.

Up to three timeframes at once

The main trading chart plus two synchronised windows. For example, H1 for context and M15 for structure while you look for an entry on M1. Higher-timeframe candles form together with the lower ones — both at start and when you rewind.

Multi-window mode works when the base simulation timeframe is M1.

A portfolio of up to three instruments

An economic calendar inside the simulation: HIGH, MED and LOW impact, Actual, Forecast and Previous, currency filters and a countdown to the next important release. You see the news in advance — just like in real trading.

Test in parts — continue from the same point

The SESSION button opens the save window: SAVE and LOAD manually, plus an autosave every minute in case you forget to press SAVE. Close the terminal, come back a day or a week later — progress, completed trades, balance and results are restored exactly where you stopped.

You no longer need to get through a year of history in one sitting: split it into evenings after work and weekends, when the real market is closed but history is not.

Set your prop firm’s rules: daily and overall drawdown limits, profit target, minimum trading days. The built-in Risk Guard tracks drawdown by balance and equity in real time and shows the moment the account would have been lost.

Why I built this simulator

I am a trader myself. And for a long time I watched the same picture: people buy a challenge, lose it in a couple of days and buy the next one. Not because they don’t care — there was simply nowhere to test their trading except with their own money.

I wanted a tool where you could quickly run your strategy through history, get honest statistics and understand whether the approach works — without losing a single dollar on it. That is how Forex Simulator came about.

I keep developing it: multi-window mode, portfolio, news and the new statistics all arrived in recent months, and I show every update in a video.

FX Simulator

Приобретал данный симулятор для отработки вероятностей различных торговых стратегий (ТС), риск-менеджмента и мани-менеджмента, а также общей статистики. Результаты весьма сильно удивили. В итоге это помогло мне выявить огромные пласты ошибок и доработать их в сильно лучшую сторону, а некоторые ТС и вовсе убрать из работы из-за своей несостоятельности и убыточности на длинных дистанциях и в моменты сверх-высоких турбулентностей на рынках, в том числе и самих "чёрных лебедей". Симулятор постоянно совершенствуется и модернизируется. С каждым новым обновлением версии появляются значительные и весомые улучшения, что не может не радовать за столь скромную цену. Видно, что разработчики вкладывают в него свои старания и душу. В общем и целом - доволен! Всем рекомендую и желаю больших профитов!

Очень полезный продукт!

Пользуюсь симулятором уже 5 дней, впечатления только положительные. Главный плюс — что это не отдельная программа, а советник прямо в MT5. Не пришлось привыкать к новому интерфейсу.
